Disability and accessibility in the Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación. Experiences and challenges

This article takes up a paper presented at the x National and i International Conference University and Disability Interuniversity Network of Disability, held in the province of Jujuy, Argentina, in May 2019. The meeting was organized by the Inter-University Network on Disability and analyzed the roles of universities with respect to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Optional Protocol in the framework of political construction around inclusion, diversity and balance of collective rights of the university community.
The Disability and Accessibility Commission of the Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos (UNER) participated in the event through the presentation of works carried out by the commissions of each school. In the case of ours, the work revealed the physical accessibility in the building dispersion, shared information around the communicational accessibility and recovered experiences of the teaching teams of the degree courses around the educational inclusion of students with disabilities.
The tasks referred to were of vital importance in order to strengthen the work of the commission and let us recover valuable experiences in relation to pedagogical practices and the challenges of academic accessibility.
This paper aims to recover the experience of the commission and to deepen conceptually what was addressed.
